MAIDENFIRE
FESTIVAL
The Sacred & the Silly
A Women & Girls’ Festival
Glen Rose, Texas | April 9-13, 2026
ABOUT
Maidenfire is a magical five-day festival for women and girls that rejuvenates the body and heart. Held on a beautiful regenerative farm in the heart of Texas, Maidenfire provides a space for connection and pure joy.
VISION
“To hold space for women and girls to connect, grow, & heal through the sacred & the silly.”
The Maidenfire Festival is more than a gathering. It is a transformative five‑day retreat for women & girls—rooted in nature, sisterhood, and connection—that nourishes on every level. Imagine gathering as the Texas bluebonnets bloom, sharing ritual, movement, song, story, and ceremony. Doing sacred healing work and having a lot of fun!
Why Maidenfire?
Maidenfire started as a space to honor girls going through their menarche or first period. But the festival quickly transformed into an all-ages women’s space for deep healing and magic!
In the Celtic concept of the Maiden, Mother, Crone, the Maiden is represented by the Spring, when Mother Earth is reborn as a girl full of new life and energy. Just as a young woman going through her first period awakens to her own power, the Earth Mother experiences a powerful surge of new life and fertility at this time of year. In some Celtic traditions, “Maidenfire” is celebrated at the end of April with a special fire.
The Maidenfire Festival honors this sacred power with:
Menarche Ceremonies for girls’ first periods
Womb Blessings & Sister Circles for women reclaiming their cycles & learning to listen
Mother Blessings for pregnant women
Crone’s Crownings to mark the return of wisdom
Each phase is an embodied rite, full of opportunities for ritual and honoring our bodies as the sacred vessels they are.
Here, we gather to remember who we are—reclaiming our:
wild feminine power
